Play is a great way to learn at any age.  Meet my Mom, Delores!  She lived the golden age of 99.  In the eight years that she lived alone after my Dad passed, gave me the opportunity to try out several play-based activities.  I discovered that play is a wonderful tool for learning at any age. 

Delores lived in an assisted living facility with my Dad before he passed and then continued at the facility in the years following.  She struggled with dementia which put an interesting twist on finding activities for her to enjoy that would also stimulate her brain and bring her joy.
