Setting up your learning space….Large Room

Now let’s look for a large indoor learning space.  Some ideas to look at is the living room, family room, basement or even a garage.  You will want the space large enough to move around, dance and build.   Having a rug or other floor covering makes the space more comfortable.

You might consider a shelf unit (or a part of a shelf unit) for supplies that you frequently enjoy using during the use of the large room activities.

Creating a place for learning will help the time shared with your child to be easy to set up and easy to clean up when learning is ready to happen. The hope is that learning doesn’t take over your home, and you can still enjoy living in your home while you enjoy learning time with your child!  Letting your child help with creating these areas will transition them into learning and become excited about it.
